This filament is modified from standard PLA and is very easy to print, with an excellent success rate, making it friendly for new users. The Silk Mystic PLA features a dynamic, horizontal tri-color appearance, where the gradual interweaving of the three colors creates a rich, changing effect when viewed from different angles. The printed models have a smooth, shiny finish akin to real silk, resulting in a beautiful high-detail appearance.

In terms of specifications, the Silk Mystic PLA filament has a diameter of 1.75mm and comes in 1kg spools. It is available in four color combinations: Gold Green Black, Gold Red Green, Blue Orange Green, and Bronze Purple Green. The recommended printing temperature range is 190-230°C, with a preferred temperature of 210°C. A heated build platform between 45-60°C is recommended, using textured paper, PVP solid glue, or PEI.

The filament is packaged in a sealed vacuum bag with a desiccant pack to maintain optimal storage conditions and protect against dust and dirt. When not in use, it is advised to retract the filament to protect the printer nozzle. For long-term storage, the loose end should be fed through the holes on the filament reel to avoid tangling.

Compared to other eSUN PLA filaments, the Silk Mystic PLA has a density of 1.256 g/cm³, a heat distortion temperature of 54.7°C, and a melt flow index of 11.32 g/10min. Its tensile strength is 57.64 MPa, elongation at break is 21.76%, and flexural strength is 78.7 MPa. The IZOD impact strength is 6.45 kJ/m².
